Notifications
Eventyflow keeps you informed about activity in your workspace through in-app notifications. You receive alerts when events are created or updated, form responses come in, reminders are due, and other workspace activity occurs.
Accessing notifications
There are two ways to reach your notifications:
- Bell icon -- Click the bell icon in the top navigation bar. A badge shows the number of unread notifications. On desktop, a dropdown previews your latest notifications. On mobile, a bottom sheet slides up instead.
- Full notifications page -- Click View all notifications at the bottom of the dropdown, or open your user menu at the bottom of the sidebar and select Notifications. This page gives you the complete list with filtering and bulk actions.
Tabs
The full notifications page organizes your notifications into four tabs:
- All -- Every notification except archived ones.
- Unread -- Only notifications you have not read yet. The unread count appears as a badge on this tab.
- Read -- Notifications you have already opened or marked as read.
- Archived -- Notifications you have moved to the archive.
Actions
You can manage individual notifications or act in bulk:
- Mark as read -- Click on a notification to open it and automatically mark it as read. You can also mark it as read from the actions menu without opening it.
- Mark as unread -- Use the actions menu on a read notification to move it back to unread.
- Archive -- Move a notification to the archived tab using the actions menu. Archived notifications no longer appear in the All, Unread, or Read tabs.
- Delete -- Permanently remove a notification from the actions menu.
- Mark all as read -- Click the Mark all as read button in the header to clear all unread notifications at once. This button appears only when you have unread notifications.
To access the actions menu, click the three-dot icon on the right side of a notification in the full page view.
What generates notifications
Notifications are triggered by activity in your workspace. Common examples include:
- Event activity -- A new event is created, or an existing event changes status.
- Form responses -- A customer submits a form linked to your workspace.
- Reminders -- Scheduled reminders about upcoming events or deadlines.
- Workflow actions -- Automated workflows that include a notification step.
- System updates -- Administrative alerts about your workspace or account.
Each notification shows a title, an optional message, a relative timestamp (for example, "5 minutes ago" or "2 days ago"), and a priority badge when the priority is above normal.
Real-time updates
Notifications arrive in real time. When something happens in your workspace, the bell icon badge updates immediately without requiring a page refresh. A toast message also appears briefly to alert you to the new notification.
Pagination
When you have many notifications, the full page view paginates the list. Navigation controls at the bottom let you move between pages -- first, previous, next, and last.
