Tags
Tags let you label and categorize your events, forms, products, and rooms with colored markers. Each category has its own tag catalog.
How to open
- Go to Settings in the navigation.
- Click Tags.
Tabs
The tag management page has four tabs -- one for each category:
- Events -- tags for your events.
- Forms -- tags for your forms.
- Products -- tags for your catalog products.
- Rooms -- tags for your catalog rooms.
Tags are independent per category. You can use the same tag name across different categories without conflicts.
Creating a tag
- Select the tab for the category you want.
- Click Add tag.
- Enter a name (up to 100 characters).
- Optionally pick a color from the palette, or choose no color.
- Click Save.
You can rename or recolor a tag later without affecting where it is assigned.
Editing a tag
- Click the three-dot menu on the tag you want to change.
- Click Edit tag.
- Change the name or color.
- Click Save.
Renaming a tag updates the display everywhere it is used. Assignments stay intact.
Deleting a tag
- Click the three-dot menu on the tag.
- Click Delete tag.
- Confirm the deletion.
Deleting a tag removes it from all assigned items of that category. This cannot be undone.
Assigning tags
You assign tags on the detail page of each item -- for example, on an event in the General tab, and on products, rooms, and forms in their settings.
- Click the + button next to the tag row to open the tag picker.
- The picker shows only the tags that belong to that item's category (event tags on events, product tags on products, and so on). Use the search box at the top to find a tag by name.
- Click a tag to select it; click it again to remove it. You can pick several tags.
- To create a new tag on the spot, type its name in the field at the bottom and click the + button. The new tag is added and selected right away. To give it a color, edit it later in Settings > Tags.
- Save the item to keep the tag assignment. Picking tags alone does not save them -- they are stored when you save the event, product, room, or form.
Tag badges
Assigned tags show up as colored badges on list and detail views. The badge uses the tag's color when one is set. In edit mode, hover over a badge and click the X to remove the tag from that item.
Limits
You can create up to 50 tags per category.
Who can manage tags
Only users with Admin or Owner role can create, edit, or delete tags. All team members can see and assign existing tags.
