Commerce

Configure workspace-wide commerce settings for your forms and events.

General settings

  • Currency code -- 3-letter ISO code (e.g. EUR, USD).
  • Price display -- show prices as net or gross.
  • Show tax information -- toggle tax details on or off.
  • Number formatting -- rounding precision, decimal separator, thousands separator. Rounding precision options: 0.01 (Standard), 0.05 (Swiss), or 1 (whole numbers).

Tax rates

You can manage tax rates with the following details:

  • Name
  • Optional external ID
  • Active or inactive
  • Default flag (one active tax rate must be the default)
  • Version entries with effective dates

Tax rates can change over time. You create a new version with an effective date, and Eventyflow automatically uses the correct rate based on when the event or order was created.

Good to know:

  • If active tax rates exist, at least one must be marked as default.
  • Deactivated tax rates can still appear in historical data.

Where price settings appear

Your commerce settings show up in three places:

  • In the form -- customers see prices formatted according to your settings.
  • In confirmation emails -- prices and tax information match your workspace configuration.
  • In the event's Sales tab -- product totals, tax breakdowns, and summaries use your active settings.

How it works with forms and events

  • New forms use your workspace commerce defaults.
  • Importing a form via JSON adjusts the tax setup to match your workspace tax rates.
  • Event products, rooms, and pricing summaries use your active tax rates.
